Bolt

Bolt app security audit

A Bolt app can look finished in the builder and still let one signed-in person open another person's records. This audit is a human check of that, plus keys, backups and speed.

What we look at

  • Who can see which records, tested by signing in as someone who should not see them.
  • Keys for paid services, and whether they are written where a visitor can read them.
  • Whether the app only runs inside the builder, or also on the link customers use.
  • Backups, and a restore that has actually been tried.
  • Speed when more than one person uses it.

How Start, Check and Care fit

  • Solid Start if you are about to build in Bolt and want the accounts in your name first.
  • Launch-Ready Check is this audit for an app that already exists. A Fix Sprint does the repairs if you want them.
  • Care Plan once the app is live and you want backups, updates and the bill watched.

FAQ

Questions worth answering first

Bolt already showed me warnings. Why a separate audit?

A warning list is a start. It does not sign in as two people and try to open each other's records, and it does not repair what it finds.

Will you move the app out of Bolt?

No. We review and repair the Bolt app you have. You keep the code, the accounts and the data.

What if I have not launched?

That is a good time. We would rather find an open record before a customer does.

Thirty minutes. We look at where you are, whether you are about to build, ready to launch, or already live, and tell you what matters first. You leave with a written next step, whether or not you hire us.

Every price is a custom quote after your assessment. No work starts until you accept the proposal.
